In this high-impact role, you will design and implement robust Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) frameworks that protect millions of users.

Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable 2FA/MFA solutions using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML protocols.
- Integrate and manage hardware security keys (FIDO2/WebAuthn) and software-based TOTP providers.
- Conduct rigorous security audits and penetration testing on authentication flows.
- Develop automation scripts to streamline identity verification and reduce friction.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for identity management.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically within Identity and Access Management (IAM) or 2FA engineering.
- Deep expertise in 2FA protocols: TOTP, HOTP, WebAuthn, FIDO2, and Push Notifications.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS IAM, Azure AD, GCP) and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations and directory services (LDAP/Active Directory).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
