Responsibilities
- Drive Strategic Insights: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that drive business growth.
- Visualize Complex Data: Create intuitive dashboards and visual reports using Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- SQL Mastery: Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Collaborate Effectively: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, Finance) to define data requirements and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
- Optimize Processes: Continuously improve data collection methods and reporting workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce manual errors.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and experience with Python or R for data manipulation.
- Tools: Strong command of data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, or Power BI).
- Communication: Excellent ability to translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and actionable business recommendations.
- Schedule: Available to work approximately 20-30 hours per week on-site in San Jose or hybrid.
