Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis to interpret data trends and provide actionable recommendations.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create compelling data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings effectively.
- Database Management: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract data from relational databases and warehouse systems.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers and business units to understand their data needs and provide tailored analytical solutions.
- Market Research: Conduct competitive analysis and market trend research to support strategic business planning.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in data workflows and propose automated solutions to streamline operations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server) and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Programming: Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and analysis is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, and the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel with pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Work Style: Self-motivated individual capable of managing time effectively in a remote or hybrid environment.
