Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems using SIEM tools (Splunk/QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Respond to security incidents with documented procedures
- Develop incident response playbooks for common threats
- Analyze logs for anomalous activity and trends
- Collaborate on security awareness training programs
- Document security policies and compliance reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity or related field
- CompTIA Security+ or CEH certification required
- Experience with SIEM platforms and threat intelligence
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and CIS controls
- Proficient in scripting (Python/Bash)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Active or eligible for DoD 8570 clearance
