Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Incident response coordination and forensic investigation support
- Develop and maintain security documentation (policies, playbooks)
- Assist with compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA)
- Collaborate on threat intelligence analysis and mitigation strategies
- Security awareness training for internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with focus on threat detection
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS)
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanners (Nessus, Qualys)
- Understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure) architectures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid US work authorization required
