Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats in real-time.
- Assist in the analysis of security logs and network traffic for suspicious activity.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of security controls and tools.
- Contribute to incident response procedures and documentation.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing under supervision.
- Help develop and deliver security awareness training materials.
- Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a cybersecurity or IT security-related role.
- Familiarity with security concepts such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
- Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CySA+) are a plus.
