We are currently seeking a Part-Time Cybersecurity Analyst to join our collaborative team. Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and logs using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack) to identify potential threats.
- Conduct vulnerability scanning and penetration testing on network infrastructure.
- Assist in the configuration and management of firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- Investigate security incidents and provide detailed incident reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices.
Qualifications
- Current CISSP, Security+, or equivalent security certification.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT operations.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Familiarity with malware analysis and threat hunting methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
