Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite security operations team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding our client's digital infrastructure and sensitive data.

Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and SIEM dashboards to identify and respond to potential cyber threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Configure and manage firewall rules and network access controls to prevent unauthorized access.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents, documenting findings and root causes.
- Assist in compliance audits, ensuring adherence to industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement security patches and updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in network security or SOC operations.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols, VPNs, and encryption technologies.
- Familiarity with security tools like Splunk, Wireshark, or Snort.
- Ability to work independently and effectively during assigned part-time hours.
