Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and logs from SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to potential threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal systems to identify weaknesses before attackers do.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of security incidents, including phishing attempts and malware infections.
- Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection solutions to enforce security policies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure implementation of new software and hardware.
- Document security procedures and maintain compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Experience with incident response frameworks and forensic analysis.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
