Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat intelligence research and vulnerability assessments
- Document incident response procedures and security findings
- Assist with compliance audits (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Collaborate on penetration testing and security awareness initiatives
- Generate executive-level security status reports
- Support cloud security configurations in AWS/Azure environments
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity or IT security operations
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification preferred
- Experience with SIEM tools and threat detection platforms
- Knowledge of network protocols and system hardening
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid North Carolina driver's license for occasional on-site visits
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and security documentation tools
