Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure microservices architecture using Java/Python
- Lead incident response during off-peak hours with 24/7 on-call rotation
- Optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) for performance and cost efficiency
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Collaborate with global teams across time zones using agile methodologies
- Document technical specifications and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of security best practices (OWASP, OAuth2)
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
