Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
- Monitor system health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks during off-peak hours.
- Implement security patches and updates to ensure compliance and protect data integrity.
- Collaborate with the Day Shift team via documentation and asynchronous communication channels.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and technical architecture planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least two major programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, or C#).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or hybrid night-shift setting.
