Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain robust software solutions for 24/7 mission-critical systems.
- Monitor system performance during off-hours and implement immediate remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the US and UK time zones to coordinate deployments.
- Refactor legacy codebases to improve reliability and security during low-traffic periods.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents occurring at night.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or C#.
- Demonstrated ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
