The Role:
You will be responsible for the overall architecture of our core platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, guiding the engineering team towards best practices.
Responsibilities
- Define and document high-level architecture and technical strategy for enterprise-wide systems.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable cloud-native applications using microservices.
- Mentor and coach senior engineers, ensuring code quality and architectural consistency.
- Conduct technical due diligence for new projects and partner with product managers to align technical roadmaps.
- Implement rigorous security and compliance standards across all infrastructure layers.
- Drive optimization initiatives to improve system performance, latency, and throughput.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering and systems architecture.
- Expert proficiency in Python, Go, or Java, with deep knowledge of distributed systems.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Proven track record of leading large-scale migrations and technical transformations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
