As a Junior Data Analyst, you will work closely with our senior analysts to support our core business intelligence operations. You will gain hands-on experience in data mining, cleaning, and visualization while contributing to meaningful projects that drive our business forward.
Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Assist in gathering, organizing, and cleaning raw data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Visualization: Support the creation of dashboards and visual reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to present data trends clearly.
- Analysis: Perform basic statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in datasets to help inform business decisions.
- Reporting: Generate and update regular performance reports for stakeholders, ensuring technical data is translated into actionable insights.
- Database Support: Collaborate with the data engineering team to understand database structures and assist with data migration tasks.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of data processes and analysis methodologies to ensure team knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Business, Statistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Charts) and a willingness to learn SQL and Python.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors in data and maintain high standards of accuracy in all work.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively explain data findings to non-technical team members.
- Problem Solving: Proactive approach to identifying data issues and proposing logical solutions.
- Reliability: Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
