Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Database Management: Write basic SQL queries and scripts to retrieve specific data points from company databases.
- Reporting: Create clear, concise, and visually appealing reports and dashboards for stakeholders using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Statistical Analysis: Assist in performing statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in business data.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, operations) to understand their data needs and provide support.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data sources, methodologies, and findings.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (Graduates welcome).
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of SQL, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and at least one visualization tool (Tableau, PowerBI, or Google Data Studio).
- Programming: Familiarity with Python or R is a plus but not required for this entry-level role.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about data.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
