Responsibilities
- Assist in Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure high-quality inputs for analysis.
- Database Querying: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for reporting purposes.
- Visualization: Create interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Trend Analysis: Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support business strategy and decision-making.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data processes, formulas, and analysis methodologies.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Index/Match).
- SQL Skills: Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE, GROUP BY) is required.
- Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong attention to detail and the ability to think critically about data quality and logic.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data simply.
