Responsibilities
- Assist senior analysts in monitoring network traffic for suspicious activity and anomalies.
- Support the deployment of security patches, updates, and anti-virus software across the network.
- Conduct preliminary log analysis and assist in identifying potential security breaches.
- Document security incidents and participate in the post-incident review process.
- Help maintain and update internal security policies and procedures.
- Conduct basic vulnerability scans and report findings to the IT team.
Qualifications
- No prior professional cybersecurity experience is required; a passion for IT security is a must.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows and Linux) and basic networking concepts.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Willingness to obtain industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+) during employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred.
