Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity and potential threats.
- Assist in the triage, analysis, and documentation of security incidents and alerts.
- Perform log analysis to identify patterns indicative of cyber attacks.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of security controls and patches.
- Participate in vulnerability scanning and basic penetration testing exercises.
- Create and maintain security documentation, including incident reports and playbooks.
- Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
