Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, market shifts, and socio-economic indicators to forecast industry landscapes through 2030
- Develop strategic frameworks for next-gen product innovation in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into actionable R&D priorities
- Build predictive models for market disruption scenarios and competitive positioning
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Mentor innovation teams in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum, AR/VR)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published research or patents in future technologies or innovation strategy
- Experience with foresight tools like Delphi method, STEEP analysis, or causal layered analysis
