Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework, analyzing disruptive trends across AI, quantum computing, and synthetic biology
- Architect innovation roadmaps aligned with company vision, identifying high-ROI opportunities in emerging markets
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts, from concept to MVP
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and external stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry pioneers to accelerate innovation
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems, providing competitive intelligence and threat assessments
- Drive organizational culture of experimentation, establishing innovation metrics and KPIs
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field with 8+ years in innovation or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of successfully commercializing futuristic technologies (AI, biotech, or quantum)
- Deep expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to translate complex concepts into executable business plans
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation teams in tech or Fortune 500 environments
- Strong network of connections in Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem and global tech hubs
- Published thought leader in future-focused publications or conferences (e.g., TED, Singularity University)
