Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for technology adoption and commercialization
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future visions
- Produce horizon reports and scenario-planning frameworks for executive leadership
- Manage innovation pipeline and evaluate early-stage ventures for strategic fit
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate futuristic concepts into prototypes
- Represent company at global foresight conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech strategy
- Deep expertise in at least two future-critical domains (AI ethics, quantum applications, neurotech)
- Proven track record of developing long-term technology roadmaps
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous technological transitions
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership on technology's societal impact (articles, whitepapers)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, horizon scanning)
