Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning emerging innovations with market demands and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and validating breakthrough technologies with 5-10 year market impact
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning to anticipate technological disruptions and competitive threats
- Develop intellectual property portfolios and innovation frameworks for next-generation solutions
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders to accelerate R&D
- Present technology visions and investment proposals to executive stakeholders and board members
- Mentor technical teams in future-proofing methodologies and emerging technology adoption
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership with proven impact on future-facing initiatives
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biocomputing, or sustainable tech)
- Track record of successfully launching technology roadmaps with 5+ year horizons
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategies
- Experience securing multi-million dollar technology investments and R&D budgets
- PhD or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends (white papers, patents, or industry keynotes)
