Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing and AI-driven automation
- Develop strategic partnerships with emerging tech startups and research institutions
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technologies (metaverse, biotech, etc.)
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Innovation
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar foresight designation preferred
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals
- Fluency in 3+ programming languages (Python, Rust, Haskell)
- Experience with SDLC and agile methodologies for complex systems
