Responsibilities
- Lead research initiatives in emerging technologies including quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotechnology convergence
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption across enterprise and consumer sectors
- Partner with C-suite executives to align technological innovation with business objectives
- Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and domain experts
- Identify and secure partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and executive reports
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory developments affecting innovation landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, blockchain, or neurotech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Experience managing budgets over $5M for R&D initiatives
- Strong network in Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic planning (e.g., from Singularity University)
