- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Monitor competitive landscapes and disruptor threats
- Drive patent strategies for emerging intellectual property
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., quantum, AI, neurotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global tech ecosystems
- Experience with venture capital and startup incubation
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., CFTE preferred)
