Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) to develop 2026-focused innovation roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify high-impact opportunities and mitigate future risks
- Develop strategic partnerships with research institutions and startups for technology scouting
- Create financial models and business cases for futuristic initiatives securing 7-figure budgets
- Present visionary strategies to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory changes affecting technology adoption
- Build and lead a dedicated future technologies incubation team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning with 5+ years in emerging technologies or innovation roles
- Proven track record of launching products with 2026+ market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AI ethics, neurotech, etc.)
- Exceptional financial modeling and ROI projection capabilities
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystems and research communities
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends (articles, patents, keynotes)
- Experience securing $1M+ budgets for experimental initiatives
