Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech) and create 3-5 year strategic roadmaps
- Develop proof-of-concepts for disruptive technologies with $2M+ annual R&D budget
- Partner with C-suite to align tech innovation with business growth targets
- Lead cross-functional teams in building scalable prototypes for 2026 market readiness
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members quarterly
- Build ecosystem partnerships with leading research institutions and startups
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized tech innovations
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management with executive/VC audiences
- Portfolio of delivered tech innovations with measurable impact
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
