Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap with measurable KPIs and innovation milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling disruptive technologies (AI, quantum, biotech convergence)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify emerging threats and opportunities
- Drive strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology forecasts to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical tech implementation and risk mitigation
- Mentor innovation teams and champion a culture of experimental R&D
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing breakthrough technologies
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
