Responsibilities
- Collect and Clean Data: Gather data from various sources and ensure it is accurate, consistent, and formatted for analysis.
- Perform Data Analysis: Use statistical methods and software to interpret complex datasets and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Create Visualizations: Develop clear, concise charts, graphs, and dashboards using tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Generate Reports: Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
- Support Decision Making: Collaborate with management to provide data-driven recommendations to improve business operations and efficiency.
- Database Management: Assist in maintaining and organizing databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required. We value potential and a strong work ethic over years on a resume.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) is a plus. Experience with SQL, Python, or R is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and the ability to spot errors in data sets.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to approach problems methodically.
