Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, organize, and clean data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Utilize tools like Tableau or Power BI to develop intuitive visualizations and interactive dashboards for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform descriptive and inferential statistical analysis to identify key trends, patterns, and anomalies in business performance.
- Reporting: Create clear, concise, and compelling reports and presentations that translate complex data findings into understandable insights for non-technical audiences.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and help define the metrics that matter most.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas where data processes can be optimized to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. (Recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Technical Skills: Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and databases. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) is required.
- Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) is a plus but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Soft Skills: A proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
