Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activities
- Assist in investigating security incidents and documenting findings
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing under supervision
- Implement security controls and policies across network infrastructure
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security standards
- Participate in security awareness training for employees
- Generate security reports and maintain incident documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent knowledge
- Familiarity with network security principles and protocols
- Basic understanding of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Active pursuit of additional security certifications preferred
