Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Analyze network traffic and system logs to identify potential threats
- Document security events and incident response actions
- Assist with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices
- Participate in security awareness training programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Understanding of security frameworks (NIST, CIS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Relevant certifications (Security+, CompTIA Network+) preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
