Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk/QRadar) for security incidents and anomalies
- Perform vulnerability scans using Nessus and Qualys tools
- Assist with incident response documentation and remediation tracking
- Conduct security awareness training for non-technical staff
- Participate in penetration testing exercises under senior guidance
- Update security policies and procedures based on NIST frameworks
- Collaborate with network teams on firewall rule optimization
Qualifications
- Associate/Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (or working towards it)
- Familiarity with TCP/IP networking and basic Linux/Windows systems
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python/Bash preferred)
- Understanding of common threats (malware, phishing, ransomware)
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations coverage
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license for occasional client site visits
