Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate potential security incidents and document findings
- Assist in vulnerability scanning and patch management processes
- Collaborate on security awareness training initiatives
- Support compliance audits and regulatory documentation
- Participate in threat hunting and intelligence analysis
- Document security procedures and incident response playbooks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs)
- Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
