Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms for security incidents and anomalies
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing assistance
- Document security events in ticketing systems (ServiceNow/Jira)
- Assist with incident response procedures and forensic analysis
- Conduct phishing simulation campaigns and user training
- Update security policies and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with network teams on hardening initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate/Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (or pursuing)
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems
- Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or Sentinel)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
