Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
- Assist in incident response documentation and basic triage procedures
- Perform vulnerability scans and security assessments under guidance
- Update and maintain security documentation and compliance records
- Participate in security awareness training for employees
- Research emerging threats and contribute to threat intelligence reports

Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field OR equivalent military experience
- CompTIA Security+ certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs)
