Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms for security alerts and investigate potential threats
- Perform vulnerability scans and patch management on enterprise systems
- Document security incidents and remediation actions in ticketing systems
- Assist with security audits and compliance reporting (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Participate in tabletop exercises and incident response simulations
- Collaborate with network and development teams on security best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (within 6 months of hire)
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems and networking fundamentals
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python/Bash preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations coverage
