Responsibilities
- Data Cleaning & Preparation: Transform raw data into actionable insights by cleaning, structuring, and validating datasets using SQL and Python.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct advanced statistical analysis to identify patterns, correlations, and anomalies within large data sets.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive monthly and weekly reports, translating technical findings into clear, non-technical business recommendations.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Operations) to understand data needs and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize data workflows and improve data quality standards across the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and Excel for advanced data manipulation. Experience with Tableau or Power BI is highly preferred.
- Programming: Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to executive leadership.
- Location: Must be based in or willing to work in Boston, MA (on-site or hybrid).
