Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Respond to security incidents with SLA-driven remediation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Generate executive-level threat intelligence reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Maintain compliance with NIST and CIS frameworks
- Lead incident response during weekend operational hours
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of SOC or security operations experience
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification
- Expertise in network security tools (IDS/IPS, firewalls)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike, Palo Alto)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
