Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor advanced security measures including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructure
- Investigate security incidents, analyze forensic data, and develop remediation plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards
- Develop security awareness training programs for client organizations
- Manage SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and generate actionable threat intelligence reports
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend proactive security enhancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in network security or incident response
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or GIAC preferred
