Responsibilities
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Monitor SIEM platforms for real-time threat detection and incident response
- Develop and implement security protocols for cloud and on-premise environments
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate critical security vulnerabilities
- Generate detailed compliance reports for NIST, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS standards
- Lead incident response investigations during security breaches
- Conduct security awareness training for client stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with daily pay contract work
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or CompTIA Security+ required
- Proficiency in Splunk, ArcSight, or other SIEM tools
- Expert knowledge of network security protocols (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container technologies
- Strong understanding of threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in high-pressure environments
