Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Respond to security incidents and implement containment measures
- Develop security documentation and incident response plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Stay current with emerging threats and mitigation techniques
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity or IT security roles
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Experience with network security protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, IDS/IPS)
- Proficiency in Linux/Windows environments
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Texas driver's license for client site visits
