Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage advanced security solutions (SIEM, EDR, firewalls)
- Conduct incident response, threat hunting, and forensic investigations
- Develop security automation scripts using Python/Ansible
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Lead security architecture reviews for cloud/on-prem environments
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA standards
- Mentor junior team members on emerging threat vectors
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering with CISSP or CEH certification
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security and cloud-native tooling
- Hands-on experience with Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, or CrowdStrike
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Proven incident response handling (IR planning, tabletop exercises)
- Knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (MISP, STIX)
- Ability to prioritize in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
