Key Duties
Responsibilities
- Assist in the monitoring of security information and event management (SIEM) systems for potential threats and anomalies.
- Support the triage of security alerts and tickets raised by internal users or external clients.
- Conduct basic vulnerability assessments and assist in the remediation of identified security gaps.
- Participate in penetration testing exercises and red team/blue team simulations to understand attack vectors.
- Create and update security documentation, incident reports, and standard operating procedures.
- Help deliver security awareness training to employees to reduce human error risks.
Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong desire to learn and obtain industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Network+).
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, VPN).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
