Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and alerts in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities and secure cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SOC analysis, penetration testing, or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, VPN technologies, and common attack vectors.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation and analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
