Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Investigate and remediate security incidents within SLA
- Develop and maintain security documentation and playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA standards
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (preferred)
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) environments
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
