Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructure
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint protection platforms
- Collaborate with IT teams to develop security policies and procedures
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and executive summaries
- Stay current on emerging threats and mitigation strategies
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incidents
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or related IT security roles
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit)
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols and network architecture
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) compliance frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Ability to work under pressure during high-stakes security incidents
