Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for security incidents and anomalies
- Investigate and document security breaches, malware infections, and network intrusions
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on weekend systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls
- Generate comprehensive incident response reports and executive summaries
- Stay current on emerging threats via threat intelligence platforms
- Participate in weekend on-call rotations for critical incident response
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with weekend shift preference
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent certification
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and threat detection methodologies
- Experience with Windows/Linux system hardening and network security
- Strong analytical skills with incident response expertise
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure weekend environments
