Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents in real-time
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Document security incidents and remediation actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on threat intelligence
- Conduct periodic security audits and compliance checks
- Stay current with emerging threats and mitigation techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
- 3+ years of SOC experience with weekend/night shifts
- CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expertise in network security protocols (IDS/IPS, firewalls)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and threat detection platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently under pressure
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST, MITRE ATT&CK)
